Welcome To Argyll House Surgery
Dear Patient
Please note that you do not need to take any action as a result of this letter.
I am pleased to be able to confirm that Argyll House Practice in Ryde will remain open.
I can confirm that the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Integrated Care Board (ICB) has in principle approved the transfer of the contract for General Practice services to new partners who will deliver primary care services from the site in Ryde.
We communicated with you earlier in the summer that the current partners had handed back their contract to the ICB and that we were working urgently with the practice to ensure all patients would continue to have access to care into the future.
The change will formally come into effect on or soon after 1st November 2023 and existing staff will transfer over on the new contract.
We continue to work closely with the new partners and the existing practice team to ensure a smooth transition.
I would like to reiterate that you do not need to take any action as a result of this letter.
Argyll House GP Practice remains open for business as usual during this period of transition.
As previously communicated, we intend to host community engagement events in Ryde in the near future in partnership with the practice team.
We will write to you about this in the near future once the details are confirmed.
Thank you for your continued support.
Yours sincerely
Darren Cattell, Place Director for Isle of Wight at Hampshire & Isle of Wight Integrated Care Board
